Recap: The renovation is nearing completion. You’ve seen the new entranceway, open plan area, kitchen and laundry. Next up the Bathrooms.
The old bathroom finishes and fixtures included heavy wood beams and window frames, a simple wall-mounted sink with exposed plumbing and a fold out shower screen. Combined with old mosaic tiles on floor and walls, the bathrooms lacked warmth or style.
The ensuite, the bathroom and the new powder room are all taking shape. The plumbing is in place and this was followed by the floor and wall tiling along with the installation of the bathroomware.
The floor tile for both the ensuite and bathroom is Beaumonts’ Eclipse Coal. Using the same elegant 300x600mm charcoal grey tile links the two bathrooms and provides a consistent look. The larger tile has the effect of making each of the bathrooms feel more spacious.
The wall tile for both bathrooms is Beaumonts’ Vast White in a satin finish. This fresh white tile contrasts beautifully with the charcoal grey floor tile and makes both bathrooms feel bright and roomy.
As also selected on Interiors Made Easy, Timberline white wall mounted vanity cabinets with a vessel basin were installed in both bathrooms.
As recommended, Danielle used the Vivid Slimline tapware she chose for the bathrooms, in the kitchen and laundry as well. All the tapware collections displayed in Interior Made Easy include multiple options for mixers, bath tap outlets, shower outlets, soap dishes/ shelves, toilet roll holders, hooks plus complementing bathroomware options (baths, toilets etc.).
‘We went with the same tapware range throughout the house as recommended on Interiors Made Easy. It looks great and just links everything up.’
